I called and scheduled appointment to check driver door

I called and scheduled appointment to check driver door per letter I received. I asked for a time and was told 8:30 on Monday morning. I sat for 2 1/2 hours and nothing was done. I also requested new key fob due to losing one; it was submitted to my extended warranty insurance but I did not receive any further information if it was ordered or when to expect it. I do not understand why you would tell me to come in at a particular time and think I could spend my entire day sitting and waiting for you to check it whenever was convenient for you.

Took my 2014 Edge in for the works service.

Took my 2014 Edge in for the works service. When it was done the clerk said everything looked good except for the air filter. She didn't say why. I seemed to recall I replaced the filter not to long ago. When I got home I raised the hood and looked at the air filter housing. It had not been touched, still covered with dust, no fingerprints. I removed the cover to check the condition of the filter. It looked like new and realized I replaced it approximately 5 weeks earlier. It makes me wonder if when the mechanics do an oil change if they really replace the filter or just skip it.
